Meeting Room Security
Live Conference PRO™ employs both user ID and meeting room
authentication. This simply means that each Operator or Guest
has his/her own username and password, which is used to join a
web meeting. The advantages of user-based authentication combined with meeting-based authentication
guarantees your Guests only
have to remember one username and password. Moreover, no one can assume
a person's identity in a meeting.
The room Operator can also lock the room at anytime to prevent
logins.
Creating Guest Accounts
Using the Tools/Features menu, you can easily generate
new Guest
accounts on the fly. This feature uses an integrated
Address Book that allows you to re-invite Guests to a specific
meeting. You can specify a subject line and personal
massage. Delete and sort features are included in the Address
Book.
By default, any Guest account you manually
generate within your room, will expire in 30 days. To
increase or decrease the time value, select from the drop-down
menu located in your control panel.
Auto
Login Link
The Guest Login Link
provides a fast, easy way for people to login to your room. No
registration form is used and no email is sent. Once logged in,
they will be displayed with the username Guest with a number
appended to it. For example, Guest119.
To access the unique link
used to login into your room, login to your
Operator
Control Panel, then click the link titled; Auto Guest Login
Link.
Registration Page Form Builder
You can use this tool to create html code for custom
registration forms to be placed on your website. When your web
visitors fill out the form, they will be able to create a Guest
account to enter your meeting room.
Usage Examples:
• Provide free access to your room. For an example, click here.
• Sell access valid for a specified period of time.
• Provide access to a specific meeting and send reminder
messages.
If you plan to charge a fee to access your meeting, you can use
any payment processor you choose. For example, ClickBank, PayPal,
2Checkout, etc. There is no limit to the number of unique registration forms you create.
While there is no limit to the number of Guest accounts your
registration forms can generate, the number of people you can
have in your room at one time is determined by the size of your
account. For example, 3, 6, or 25 Seats.
